    Default MAF Meter correct way round ???

    Hi all,
    I Have changed my air filter and returned everything to how I found it.... BUT the airflow on the MAF is pointing towards the air intake

    Cant someone tell me if this is the right way round or the wrong way please

    The airflow arrow should point away from the air box.

    So it is as per the picture them... it was one of them the more I thought about it the deeper it confused me

    I changed that air filter in March mate, so a little overkill...

    Air comes in at the bottom of the box (hence all the leaves, bushes, trees and small specimens of wildlife I find in the bottom of mine...

    If in doubt, follow the pipe round from the top, through the MAF, and it should go to the turbo inlet I think. The bottom pipe should trace to the inlet at the front near the grill...

    It figures now lol

    I had no idea when it was changed last and so took advantage of the 25% off code at Euro parts and ordered a new one along with cabin and fuel filter and a bottle of Meguiar's Quik Detailer for less than £20 delivered, Bargain!!

    Air box was full of leaves and bugs so glad it's done

    Yes it is pointing the right way. I put mine back the wrong way on my 1.9 CDTI after doing the airbox mod and it instantly went into limp mode.

    The arrow shows the flow of air, so yes its correct.
