    confused interior change

    Hi all i want to change my interior of my sri to half leather,can anyone
    tell what i need to do to make sure the airbags dont go of or is there
    anyother things i should lookout for as this is the first time ive tried
    anything like this

    Disconnect the battery before disconnecting the connectors under the seat, that will prevent the air bag light on the dash coming on. Obviously don't reconnect the battery before the connectors are reconnected on the new seats.

    and if your disconnecting the battery allow the systems to power down ... allow 10-15 minutes for all of the systems to dissipate any stored charge

    confused re interior

    Hi thanks for the info so far,without sounding thick but i read on here
    something about seatbelt tensioners what or where are they when
    removing old interior

    The pre-tensioners are the socket you plug your belt into. They are bolted to the seat so no need to remove, unless like in my case where the new set of seats I bought the pre-tensioners had gone off (the car was smashed up) so I had to unbolt my ones and bolt onto the new seats = real easy job.

    The bottom of the seat belt also bolts into the seat on the other side, again simple undo and fit into new seat.

    Wink leather interior

    Hi after reading all what has been said and taking in all the comments,
    i have purchased half leather,my son in law is into cars so you can guess
    what he will be doing,hoping they look good in the car so thanks to
    everone for their comments and help
