Default Time to prepare for the MOT

Starting to get ready for the Signums first MOT under my ownership

    Shopping list bought today.
Carbon Pollen Filter (x2 one for the Signum, one for the Corsa C)
    Rear Control Arm x2
    Saab Uprated DropLinks x2
    Rear Brake seal refurb kit

As it's almost 6 months since it's last oil change, the Oil and Oil Filter will be bought from Vauxhall before the weekend.

Just hoping I can sort the rear calliper out, I noticed the piston dust cover was split when I replaced my handbrake cable a couple of months ago, and ment to get a replacement. Unfortunately I didn't and now have a stuck piston. Hope I can free it and sort it...If not, it'll be a new calliper.

Still, when all the above's fitted, should make it slightly less knocky and sort the rear handling out.

    Happy Days.

Did you get the seal kit from VX? How much was it? I know one of mine is spilt on the rear too.

No, rang Vauxhall and they only do the Front Calliper Seal Kit.

After a search on the net, i found.
    http://www.brakepartssuperstore.org...._Vauxhall.html

Costs £29 in total, but it'll be here tomorrow. Ordered just after 4pm and it's already been packed and dispatched.

They're around £80 from Vauxhall, I don't need a new (refurbed) calliper, I only really need the dust seal, as the piston wasn't seized, it was the handbrake lever stuck with gunk. Now cleaned and greased. When it arrives i'll replace everything less the piston seal anyway.

Yep, of all the bits I ordered the next day delivery item hasn't arrived, solely because they text me my hours delivery slot on Friday morning at 9.10 for delivery at 10.38 to 11.38. Not an ideal service with me being at work (terrible really for a week day )

The rest of the above bits are now fitted, will sort the brake dust cover out Monday.
