    Default 10K De-coke query

I am about to clean the boost sensor, EGR valve and air intake. Probably a stupid question but is this stuff ok to do all of this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Or do I need something different for the boost sensor?

Egr 3 i find is good for giving the whole system a clean out , usefull for doing the parts that are not so easily removed , like the lower inlet manifold
But if i was going to try and do this properly then i would also remove the boost sensor ,egr , and upper inlet manifold and give these a seperate clean out with carb cleaner , The danger with using egr 3 is that can dislodge particles in the manifold which can find there way onto the egr and boost sensor

    and still loving it

Not to mention shove it all into the DPF, if you have one.

remove the boost sensor first clean that on its own in some carb cleaner, then spray 6 shots ( 3 either side of the butterfly for evenness ) 10 k is just very expesive carb cleaner which is about £5 a can.
