Dropped Her Off @ Work This Morning...Heading Home I Saw A Pidgeon Right On The White Line In The Middle Of The Road...Heading Towards Me On The Opposite Side Of The Road...A Range Rover...Pidgeon Picked The Wrong Time To Make A Getaway...Just As The 3 Of Us Were All Level...Sum Wallop It Gave My Bonnet Grill Likes...Looked In My Mirror To See The Car Behind Me Slam The Anchors On (Through The Feathers That Were Flying In The Air)...Musta Been Thinking WTF lol

Stopped And Checked For Damage...Just Some Blood Thats It...

Then When I Picked Her Up...(On The Same Road)...Noticed A Motorbike Pull Up Behind Me At The Lights...Lights Changed Then We Are Off...Turned Corner And Seen The Coast Was Clear...Seen Him Pulling Out And Making A Move...The Dick Didny Half...Overtook Me Doing A Wheely (Musta Went Bout 200 Yds) Then When He Come Down He Made The Oncoming Astra Swerve To Avoide Him..Theres Me Saying To Myself...Hope You Land On Your Face

Well Tam, you and the car are in one piece and as for the biker I am sure a few dozen will benefit from his organs when he no longer needs them (by tonight from the sounds)

Saw a classic Bentley recently, with the old fashioned indicators that pop out from the B pillar area and stick our several inches, most light up. Could be useful....

One lesson in life, when hitting animals
Some are light and cause more damage to themselves, others are mighty heavy and the vehicle comes off worse

I've run over a few pigeons now
See them enter perfectly in the middle of the vehicle, but they obviously panic, splat right under one of the rear wheels

I've also managed to hit a few birds during flight
They usually get deflected upwards, and eventually you see the remains fall to earth
Best are crows which can give passengers or following vehicles a good scare

Sadly I have also hit some larger animals, and most of these have caused damage
A dog managed to damage the air conditioning mounts on my Vectra B
A fox stole my fog light on my current Vectra C, resulting in a new front bumper
I also had a hire car and hit a deer, the car was a write-off

stupid animals they must be born with suicidal tendancies! they hear my car comming and all jump out the hedgerows and just stand in the middle of the road

even worse on wet days as im sure they dont like getting wet feet so all congragate on a blind corner instead of the grass next to it! sometimes as many as 30-40 of them, sure there planning damaging my car

was great in my old tank mondeo bumper was made out of bricks i think, i never stopped for them

but with the GSi if i hit one thats gonna be my rad and condencer destroyed.

Does my head all the bublicity there is for bikers, like think bike signs all over the place and on tv, most of the time they have got them selves to blame, 60 in 30's, wheelies, undertaking on motorways! Four wheels is the way forward, not to mention i'm skeptical of men who dress up in skin tight leather!
