    Quite a saving then.

Do you have many maps you can choose from?

Just wondering if its worth going for it rather than just a remap.

Initially no, I only had two maps to chose from. I hassled them for about three months though and got a custom map for the hybrid turbo which they hoped would give 230bhp (not tested on the rollers yet).

Have you used the EDS-IPF unit much? I have used it 3 times, 1st time ok, on 2 further occasions it wiped ECU and dropped me right in the ****, Had to send ECU to Regal on both occasions to have it re-flashed....I daren't use it now....furtunatly I had it last set at 190PS, tried the 200PS and it smoked more for no noticeable gain, bit peaky if anything.

You need to leave it until it stops flashing, it takes about 25 minutes on mine. If you lock the ECU up because you stop the process, it has an automatic recovery function. Regal can not do anything with the ECU that you can't with the IPF.

I even had a recovery file sent from Germany, seriously it wiped my ECU and I could do nothing. I do wonder if my slow broadband has any effect on things. I carried out instructions maticulasly and leave things longer than necessary to be sure but to no avail. I do find the plug connector to the car a bit vague, so I remove gater trim so I can be sure I get the plug connected fully a due to being a tight fit. When I did it the 1st time it bent the bracket holding the plug as there is just no feeling with the connecting lead
