Bit of a silly question I know but does my Sri have TC? it is a 2005 model. I cant get a definitive answer anywhere.

mine is a 2.2 direct sri on an 05 plate and has tc HTH
Very easy to find out, spin the wheels and see if you get a yellow flashing symbol on the dash.
(awaits switch related question)
if you wheel spin the car in snow/ rain does a flashing light show up on the dash ( its a pic of a car with 2 curvd car lines behind it)
if it does you have t/c
also if you check the abs pump it will have a sticker on there saying if you have t/c , or esp
beat me too it sean
Will look. Never thought of that, only had the car 6 days. Mind you my other car, a Zafira A 2.0DTI has it, but my mondeo I got rid of last week didnt.
EDIT just looked - The Zafira has the car in the triangle with skid marks symbol with ignition on. The Veccy hasn't. Is there a diagnostic gauge/bulb check (like the mondy had)? I think then I had to hold the trip button in and turn on the ignition and press it to cycle through the functions.
Could it be the bulb? Or have I just not got TC? Ah well..

The TC is fitted, by engine specification, as standard to all but the 1.8
The warning symbol should appear briefly when you commence the start up
Also, does the ABS warning light briefly appear beside it?
You should be able to test by simply applying lots of power in first gear
The TC should retard the fuel, before applying the brakes
Again, depends on engine specification and is similar to the Vectra in that the base engine does not have it
Equally, I did not find it of use
The abs light comes on briefly. I'm sure I'll not really need it, but just was curious.
PM me your reg number, and I'll see if TC is listed against your car's build spec.
Sorry to jump in the thread but is their a way of showing what you car came with as standard from the factory like ford etis?
