    Default Which V6 CDTI?

Well, seems as I NEED a new car and the wife's happy to go with the 3.0 V6 CDTI, the only question that remains to be asked is which one to go for?

    Preface or Facelift?
    SRI or Elite?
    Manual or Auto?

    Benefits as I see them:

    Preface - lower initial cost
Facelift - newer so lower miles and probably fewer things about to go wrong
SRI - I love the kit and it looks angry
    Elite - TOYS!!
    Manual - great for overtaking
Auto - ummm... Ive never driven an auto.

    Any advice would be welcome.

if you want comfort go for the Elite. I have 2 one Elite and one sri v6CDTI . After driving the SRi getting into the elite its like driving heaven. So much sound proofing as the SRi is only an LS with sports bits. Go for auto with the V6 its perfect comparison.

Signum design. They are better built, better spec and cheaper.

    Vehicle : Signum

    Trim : Elite

My Siggy Elite is petrol Auto 04 plate, absolute heaven to drive and with that much power and choice of using maual gearshift overtaking is no problem. Get the earlier model if you can, I think they have more toys and definately less road tax. Deisel will not be any slower some maybe slightly faster not that the difference would matter unless on a race track. Just my tuppence worth
    3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁

I'd say Elite Facelift Manual..........better ride etc than pre-facelift due to the chassis improvements at facelift, The spec of the Elite, and better MPG of the manual.

and as foir liking the look of the SRi...you can always add SRi bits to the Elite...like lights spoiler etc..

Automatic/Tiptronic g/box for me all day every day, best of both worlds. My preface SRI "glad its not a manual" get a price for a full clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted. I can drive mine in either fully automatic 6 speed or manually 5 speed moving the g/lever back/forwards + -....

    Thumbs up

Automatic g/boxes "modern, fly by wire elctronic" when used correctly are as effective and efficient as a manual g/box in a similar vehicle. They are cost effective and low maintanance when compared to a manual g/box "meaning manual g/boxes can incur costly repair bills if the clutch and flywheels fail". Admittingly a auto g/box is normally alittle slower 0 > 60 mph and top speed, but i personally can live with that......
