    Default Turbo boost gauge

    can sume one plz show me a pic of where the vacuum solenoid pipe is so i know where to fit the pipe fron the boot gauge

    Don't have a pic to hand, but if you take the black plastic engine cover off, under that to the left of the main boost pipe you'll see a small plastic oblong box with three vacuum hoses and an electrical plug going into it. If you're standing at the front of the car looking at the engine, it's the one furthest away from you going from that block to the engine inlet manifold.

    Nope, I'm quite happy with the standard dump/recirculation valve. There's been a lot of talk of dump valves actually losing power unless they're set precisely right as the 2.0T's standard valve dumps what it needs to stop itself blowing up but uses the rest to keep the turbo spinning and ready for instant use.

    The work I've put into mine, I'm not risking losing power just so the psssssh noise is even louder than the standard one

    I did however fit a Maptun boost guage hence knowing where to fit it to

    that what i am puting in at the weekend a Maptun boost guage i look at your how -to m8 but when it come to thig like this i dont have a clue but wont to give it a good that y i ask for a pic of where the pipe when be for i have a go lol
