    Default Egr valve coolant pipes

I have just finished cleaning the egr valve on my vectra c 02 and have put everything back together.
However when I first took one of the coolant pipes off i lost around a cup of coolant as i didnt get to stop it in time.
Im now afraid to start the car incase i damage something.

Im a complete novice about cars but please can someone give assurance it will be ok?#

As long as you top up the coolant tank of the top right side of the car with water to the right marks which are embossed on the tank then you will be fine. The loss of a small amount of coolant is ok, providing the system wasn’t low in the first place.

Top the coolant up with cold water from a boiled kettle to the mark “COLD” on the tank and you will be fine.

it needs topping back up to the "max when cold" mark on the expansion tank, but you should be ok realistically.
