Mercedes S500 "challenge"

Just had a "challenge" with a Mercedes S500 Y reg. Was coming up to the dual carriageway on the A40 from Burford (Oxon) and had this S500 in front. I had no idea what engine/performance it had but I always rise to a challenge

. Anyway he booted it - I booted it after him and stayed right on his tail up to 85mph - when we both backed off a bit. I knew he was booting it cos I could smell petrol from his car as we accelerated! Anyway got to work and checked the internet for facts and figures and they supposed to do 0-60 around 6.7 secs. So me thinks either his engine was ******ed - or maybe it they wernt driving it "properly" or maybe it was a women driving!

Its nice wiping the smirk off Merc drivers faces...on way up to Manchester yesterday one of em came up my *rse in an A190 ( Merc SMARTcar! lol ) then tried to blow past me on a fast stretch of country road...i floored it and he didnt even get chance to see my petrol flap...i got the horn blasted and all the gestures but when he caught up to me at the next set of lights he just sat there looking like a pratt and drove away like some old woman! lol

To be fair I don't think he was trying. Unless it was just badged as a 5.0 but really a 230, 320 etc. Sounds like a typical merc driver forgetting where his rear view mirror was. LOL

Well.....same road again, on my way to work this morning..............this time a BMW 330d. He was in front, but again - kept up with him easily but would of expected him to pull away from me. I think he was booting it cause black smoke was coming out the tail pipe!
He also did the same as the other Merc guy (above) whereby he pulled over a 80mph into the inside lane to let me pass - so he could have a gander at my badge at the back I suppose.lol.
Now I'm not saying my car is really fast at all - but it does seem to give a few of these other big engined car a run for their money!!!!!

PS same thing happened with a Merc C270 (whatever that is) the other day as well!
