Just a quick hello.

Just picked up a 2004 Vectra C Sxi 2.2 Direct.Nice big comfy barge.Would have prefered an SRi but meh,i couldn't find 1 in my budget. Now a few have popped up for sale.Happy with the Sxi though.

Hi Nik, Welcome, the fifers are growing
Welcome along.
Not very much difference between the SXi and and SRi, 16" 9 spokes Wheels and Elite/LS Bumpers before 2004, Sports bumpers added after 2004 and just wheels to 16" 5 spoke IIRC. SXi has the sports suspension as standard.
alright nik, good to see a fellow fifer on here, the more the better?
to vectra-c nik. They're a good bunch of lads here. Hope you enjoy your stay.
Oh and I can't forget the obligatory message
Hi Nik welcome to the site and the growing number of fifer's on here lol
Hi Nik,
Not from the kingdom myself but a scot from Paisley. I just joined the forum a few weeks ago after buying a 2004 2.2 Direct Design and have found it to be a great place to find out whatever I need to know.
Cheers
Lynchy
Welcome mate , Fifers on the up again !!
Thanks for the welcome folks.
Yeah it looks like an SRi/Gsi minus the wheels.Inside i think the only difference is a few cubby holes missing and no trip computer. Can live without those. And its cheaper to tax with it being a Direct. So thats a bonus.
I actually test drove a 2002 SRi and it felt gutless compared to this.
I just sold my Z22SE Mk4 Astra SRi in favour of the Vectra, and if im being honest, its not THAT much slower, even though its quite a bit heavier. With the Vectra being a Z22YH it does have more power and torque so maybe that helps.Dunno.lol.
