    Default Front suspension problem

I recently took the car for a 4 wheel alignment check where the drivers side front is out. they cant adust it anymore to correct it, the camber is out as well as the castor, the toe is spot on though this means that probably something is either bent or something, so antsss and i have changed the track control arm on this side as well as the drop link arms etc. The car drives lovely and straight and dosnt pull to either side but the drivers side front wheel is not central in the wheel arch which means that either the hub is bent or the subframe has either moved or that is bent
is it possible to adjust the sub frame? and who could do this and what sort of price am i looking for a replacement hub
or should i just leave it as it is
    thanks guys
    chris

id look more along the lines of the lower wishbone as its this that keeps the hub in its position in the wheel arch so if that was bent it would push the hub either backward or forward

I've replaced the wishbone mark didn't make any difference but the service history shows that the steering pump has been replaced so I'm wondering if they would have to remove the subframe to do this and not put it back straight or the hub is bent or something

Hey mate - sorry I didnt reply to your txt...

Ive been thinking about this!! So we have changed the wishbone, and thinking about it, thats really the only thing that will adjust where the wheel sits in the arch I think..

So as we have replaced that, we have to look at what the wishbone bolts too - and thats the subframe I dont think changing the shock and / or hub will make a difference.. Although that probabily will make a difference on the camber/caster of the wheel.

Im trying to remember who - and I know someone local to us does, can measure things like subframes for being bent etc.. Must be something an accident repair place can do....

    hmmm!

im with you on this antsss , chris may have a point about the subframe not bolting back in the same place but when doing a steering rack you only lower the subframe you dont actually remove it from the car but if you look at where the subframeis bolted up you may see the difference of where it was originally bolted and where its bolted up now
