    Default Original HID's are flickering

    Hello,
I have original HID's fitted in my car. It's 2006 facelift Vectra C 1.9, 150hp. It's not BiXenon. The lights start to flicker recently. Not very bad but I can clearly notice it. Sometimes they even switch of for half a second. Any idea what can cause the problem? I tried to search for a similar issue but the only results I can find are for aftermarket HID's.

Both are flickering. The battery is ok. That is the first thing that I checked. I will order new bulbs to see if that will help. I suspect the ballasts but can't be sure and are to expensive to replace. Just wanted to check if someone else had that issue before.

If they're shot, why don't you just replace them with aftermarket ones?.Then, when you come to MOT the car next year,if the new reg's have come in,they shouldn't fail them because all the necessary OEM support equipment will be as standard!!.FELIXX.
