What you think?
It has standard springs. Is it riding too high at the front for standard?

Looks fine to me, mine was like that till I lowered it
Standard springs?
It should have sports springs
Have they been replaced, perhaps under warranty?
If you are unsure, contact SureGuard and they will check to see if any claims have been made
Where are the SRI badges?
Have they been removed or were they never there?
Has the car had any accident damage (and as a result the badges overlooked)?
Also, open up the bonnet and inspect the strut mount covers
If they are the same colour and no labels then they are original
If they have labels on them, then they are likely to be replacements
Finally, what tyres are fitted?
The 225/45R17 can make the arch look larger when other cars have 215/50R17
looks fine to me matey, i had 2 front shocks replaced recently and i thought the same but then found my rear springs were broke so had them done now looks pretty much the same as yours (as much as a pre facelift model can anyway)
Well, I went 225/45/17. Thought that could be it meself too. But the difference between 45 and 50 must be minimal.
I took the SRI badge off one side, to see what I preferred. Making a decision on that still.
All it has done, is made me want to lower it on after market springs now. Thanks for the underbonnet strut advice, I will look into that.
my old sri sat like that aswell 1.8 engine which would be lighter than diesel blocks
