Vauxhall say 80k or 8 years but most people recomend 60k or 6 years as thats when the water pump's seem to start failing.

FFS id take that with a pinch of salt. Get the cover off and double check it has been done youll definatly see if its a new belt thats on. I was under impression it was 10 years or 100k too.

It used to be 100k/5 years but Vx changed it to 80k/4years. But the pulleys and water pump themselves are being pushed with that interval and then there is the belt which starts to fray around 50k. Some say the belt is fine but I wouldn't be resting the fate of my engine on it.
