Default Brighter Lights for side lights, Vectra SRI150

    Hi Guys,

I want some different sidelights for my 2008 vectra SRI. The ones that come standard are just yellow and not exciting.

I have seen a lot of Audis that have the daytime running sidelights, that are bright and look pretty good.

I just went to buy some LED Prism side lights from halfords, they were £10, fitted them and they look great, but turned the key and theres a yellow light on the dash and computer say low voltage side lights. Looked on the packaging and it does say that the car can produce this warning.

Anyone had this before and know a workaround, or know any lights that are bright and fit into the side light area of the headlight?

    cheers.

Hi Mate i just fitted a new Hid 50 w kit from Hids Direct and also fitted these sidelight bulbs, no warning lights with these at all and a nice crisp white light http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/error-f...ite-p-497.html

You might need to file one side of the bulb as they can be a slightly wider fit

Do you mean the sidelight bulb or the Hids, not taken any photos but can do later, they are 100% better than normal bulbs if your looking at the sidelights
