Default Radio Code Wanted for 2003 Vectra

    Hi There,

Anyone know of the best place to get a FREE radio code for my 2003 Vectra C 2l dti. The radio is a SIEMENS CDR2005(E) and the local main dealers are not too friendly (ie they want some money for the code). I know I can get a code on some auction sites, but they again want money !

    Many thanks

Either pay your dealer for the car pass or take it to an audio specialist and pay twice as much and get the code. The VX Car pass has far more on it than just the stereo code anyway, it contains the key number, immobilizer code and chassis number too.

Not being funny but it's only £15.00 for a pass card and it will give you all the other codes for your car too...

Dealer had the wrong code for mine

Had to fight to get a refund, took it to an audio specialist who got the code in 5 mins from the unit (and cost less than the dealer). It was one digit out from what the dealers had

When I bought my car I came with no car pass, dealer actually took the stereo out and took the serial number of the side so they knew they'd have the correct code for the stereo. Turned out my stereo was locked out and I needed to have it unlocked by an audio specialist.

    Default code

If you have the service book and can see the suppling dealer give them a ring they will sort you out free of charge . If you don't give vauhal luton a ring and they will tell you the supping dealer. I do this all the time if I do not have a code.

What my local Vauxhall Dealer said :-
Thank you for your enquiry. All you need to do is call our parts department on ***** ****** with your vehicle registration number and they will order the code for you. The cost is £28 and when you come in to have the work done you will need to bring your Log book and proof of identity.

    How Much ???

That's not only for the stereo code. It also includes other codes such as to reprogram another key for the central locking and immobiliser.

    It'll look something like this
