    Default Booked into dealers Thursday

Well booked insignia in on Thursday so they can look into the judder in 2nd and 3rd between 1500 & 2500 rpm, plus when lifting off accelerator quickly there's a clunk noise happens when shifting to 2nd quickly too. ( feels like a mount gone )
Then yet again I've reported clunking into 2nd and sometimes when going into first in grinds

Bet they tell me everything is fine !!

Give trading standards a phone too, and get advice if they do say that. Clearly somethings not right with the car, why put it into the dealers to let them tell you it's fine, when you're not happy?

ford had a similar gripe with the new 1.6 zetec fiesta .... had cars come and go for 4 months .... no recorded faults although we could prove the fault was present.... ended up with a revised powertrain control module software update

    good luck mate

    Cheers guys

Hope they can do something as car is brilliant apart from a few niggles, I know they might not be able to sort 2nd gear clunking as it seems all insignias do this ( So im told )
But last night driving back from Eden project i was in 6th gear doing 60 and if i put foot down and took foot of accelerator quickly you got a jolt/clunk like an engine mount had gone, plus the judder in 2nd and 3rd happened about 5 or 6 times on journey.

If Trading Standards take an interest in this at this stage, I'll not only eat my hat, I'll also share my £166,000,000 Euro Millions winnings equally with you all.

Car has minor mechanical problem. Owner phones the garage that sold it to him. Garage book it in for inspection and possible repair. Difficult to see what consumer law has been broken so far that would cause TS to want to get involved.

Jezzy you're comments never fail to be the most obscure as I have found trading standards have been otherwise, so why not come up with better solutions.

I never said consumer law had been broken, I said ask for advice as that's what they're for.

So go eat your hat and give me the 166,000,000 that you one, sorry 'won'.

In fairness to Jezzy you wrote "why put it into the dealers to let them tell you it's fine, when you're not happy?". This implies you dont think the dealers should be given a chance to look at the car, which as Jezzy stated is the first thing TS would tell Don to do.

P.s i promise im not just trying to start fights with you, just explaining where Jezzy is coming from on this one

If it was put in better context, then fair enough, but all the time he has too much too say. If it's not pulling up grammar, it's pulling up spelling then the next.

I basically said if someone isn't happy because they are expecting to be told 'it's all fine' when they are having issues. Then do they just drive the car away with that information and the problem isn't fixed. My post was just for him to get advice, so he wouldn't leave the garage unhappy - if that circumstance came to light.

All Jezzy does is just post unconstructive critism when he feels fit, where is his solution? Believe it or not, I always figured him as being sharp enough to offer one, then why not?.

I have said my bit and I ain't saying anymore.
