    Default Code readers/reset tools

Please can someone recommend a reader and/or reset tool. I tried a friend's cheapo op-com one and it wouldn't read mine.

Signum 55 plate 2006 1.9 cdti design Alomost 70K miles

The spanner light is coming on about 2 seconds after cold start up and then goes off after around 2 miles. Remains OK until next cold start.

Also having stuttering at between 1500 and 2000 revs.

I Have cleaned the EGR a couple of times and have had to 'fix' the swirl flap connector and there are black marks appearing around the swirl valve tops so looking like it will need a new manifold soon.

Meanwhile, while I considre whether just to sell the damn thing, what is the best resobnably priced code reader or reader reset tool please?

Is this one any good as I live very near LMF Vauxhall: http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/search....=search&page=1

PM 'Furby' on VVOC.com for an Opcom unit, had mine ages and works with every Vauxhall model I've worked on.
