Default P 0100 on vectra dti is back but my vacuum pipes intact!

I replaced the vacuum hoses. when i had this error some 18 months back.

    Both of them.

    Haven't had problem for aaages.

But. again. always "but" with vectra" and always "again"...

Now recently, random p011xx error were coming on... couldnt find anything wrong, but re-seating the sensor connectors fixed the problems and during the whole proceedure of removing air-flow parts and re-seating them, all problems sort of dissapeared.

Then, 2 weeks later . 0100 came on. limp mode is back. Black smoke at the back, so much that at 2000rpm i get people flashing lights at me and over taking, warning my car is about to pop.

embarrasing the least, but 0100 limp mode.. when i overclock 2000rpm.. suggests AIR inflow problems.

But im back to square one. there are no problems with pipes, i checked time and time again.. i dont even bother putting plastic cover back on the engine, so i can get easy access to the pipes, or when engine is running with error.

This bugs me to no end. anyone with suggestions where else to look for the problem, common faults? any helpful know how or areas of importance troubleshooting this error code would be really helpful

    Default

Could just be that the sensor in the maf needs a clean , try spraying the sensor with some carb cleaner
