Default Do I ge HIDS or not????

I am in 2 minds about hids, I like the idea of being able to see where I am driving, but on the other hand not to keen on the legalities of having them fitted. I have been looking at the 5000k ones as I presume these are nice and white.

I know there are hundreds of threads about them, but need your help on this decision plus I am only a mile down the road from hidsdirect, and have read great things about them.

I had HID's in my last veccy and now having swopped to a new one without them, it's like going from a maglite to a candle. Needles to say a set will be getting fitted.

I had the 6k ones from HID direct. Worked great and looked factory.

Do it, you know you want to!

I have been reading about flickering when you turn the ignition off, do they still do it or has it been sorted. I just want to fit them without any warnings/faults etc.

HID's are a must honestly, after doing this on the vec, it will be my first mod on any car

i have 8K 50W and never need to use full beam or fogs now they are that good!

As long as you line the beam up correctly i dont see why you would be bothered by the rozzers

Is there much difference between the 35w & 50w? wouldn't want to get anything to bright.

I installed HIDs and was very impressed compared to the standard Vx lights

The problem maybe that as of next year the MOT testing criteria is changing (discussed in ealier threads) and use of after market HID lights will require auto leveling head light units.
