    Default 1.9 Cdti 120 hesitation

I have a 1.9 CDTI SRi 120 here on 05 plate it not the engine that the mainfold gives trouble, When driving it is gutless but no missfire . When stopped, you rev up to 1800 rpm and it misses like a pig. New EGR fitted 6 months ago. Took if off the other day and its was clean as a you could get. Any thoughts ?

Same as me m8 new ERG If I have the window down it sounds like I have put my hand over the pipe on a vacuum and lifting it on and off when the revs hit 1800-2500

Just sorted mine and it is now running better than it has ever done in the 8 months I have owned it. Had similar symptons to yours but not sure exactly what fixed it - but this is what I did. Replaced the EGR, fitted the Fiat type 3 hole EGR gasket, cleaned the boost sensor, and replaced the two small vacuum pipes at the front of the engine. The first thing I would do if I were you would be to disconnect the EGR and try running it without the EGR connected - it wont do any harm but will activate the spanner light to start with and later the Engine Management light. I reset mine but I understand from other members that it will go out itself after you reconnect and have a few starts. Good luck.
