Anti Hijack/Heater help???

Hello Guys
I have a problem using the anti hijack on my 03 sri half canbus.
A couple of weeks ago I borrowed a BCM from Plasmas 57 vectra in order to set up my new electric rear windows that worked fine apart from then my heater controls didn’t work then noticed when I got above 5mph the doors auto locked. What I’m looking for I think is a BCM from a 04 where the anti hijack started to see if that works or I could just get a late BCM and then see if I can find out why the heater didn’t work and/or wire it so it will work.

Both these items are programmed elsewhere.

The anti hijack is done via the keyfob - look in the how 2 section, or even in your car's manual

The heater controls may need to be re-programmed in the BCM, and perhaps in the display.

Swapping the BCM, may have upset your settings.

Just get your existing / replacement BCM programmed in to the correct settings.

To be certain, the replacement BCM should have the same part number and Alpha Code as the one that was originally fitted to your car.

We've actually got this sorted now mate, there was a wiring change on 2004.5 cars in how the heaters are powered and it now looks to the BCM for a command signal

Ah yes...
Hence the need to swap between half CAN and full CAN heater panels when changing either the DISplay or BCM.

correct, but can be made to with a simple change, and robsey the heater control panel is exactly the same between the 03 half can and my 05 full can
