Chains are supposed to last the lifetime of the engine, hence there's usually no specified schedule for changing them. On the 2.2, the chain sometimes gives problems, hence many people change the chain/tensioner at 100k or less. The Z20NET, however, is more reliable and chain issues are rare - so if yours, like most people's 'NETs, isn't giving any trouble, then no need to worry about it. Leave it be.

Got to agree with jezzy, if its quite then leave it alone. Changed mine last week due to a rattle on start-up. Quite as a mouse now

i have 67k on the clock and can hear mine at startup so am looking do mine along with the balancer chain kit as well, however I am trying to tie it in with an engine mod but not sure how long to wait as I pull a higher torque and bhp on mine..

need to get the part numbers and prices for the timing chain kit plus balancer chain kit and water pump.
