2.2 petrols were all twin exits. I think this is still the same on the facelift models as well.

Spacenase - if you mean will it fit a Signum 2.2 then physically it will - I think even though it is off a facelift. Your 2.2 Elegance will have twin hidden exhausts I believe, so maybe you'd want to change that to twin visible exhausts? - like what I did.

Different backboxes were compatible with different engines, I can't recall which engines shared the same parts. I've got the info somewhere.

Scottex - pre-facelift it was only the Design that came with twin visible exhausts - all engines (except the 2.2DTi)

Facelift - all models came with visible exhaust - but only twin on the 2.2i, 2.0T, 2.8V6 and 3.0CDTi. The 1.9CDTI and 1.8 are single visible.

Right, that's probably everyone thoroughly confused now!! lol

urm yeah its confused me aswell

the tailbox is for a signum only and it will fit no problem,if anyone has
a twin no showing and they want to fit a single showing exit then this
is the ideal way,it wont affect anything if changing from twin to single as
the clamping joint position is the same on either.

    Cheers!

It's good that it'll fit, but will it affect the way the car runs if I switch from a twin to a single?

no m8 not wotsoever,at the end of the day its just a muffler just to keep
the thing quiet,i have changed from a single to a twin and if you change
from a twin to a single then i cant se it being any difference and wont
    affect the rinning at all.
