    Default Car Mats and Warrenty

    Gents,

Please advise, would car mats that come with the vehicle be covered with a years warrenty?

I'm asking as the drivers side mat has worn completely away to the backing. I've only had them since March?

Did they come with the car from new or did you buy them from the parts counter ?

Either way somethings amiss if you've had them 7 months.

But the dealer will say wear & tear but its worth an ask. Sods Law says "if you go in expecting to be told to go away then they might supprise you and change them".

As Harry says, they may well say it's wear and tear as they don't know how 'heavy' you are on your mats - but no harm in asking as Scottex says - you may be surprised!
