    Default losing boost pressure

    boosts up to 0.9 bar in 4th then drops to 0.4then up again upto redline this seem right for a remapped 2.0t

    No, the boost should hold steady and drop off very very slightly at the top end of the revs, mine boosts to 1.1 bar and drops to about 1 bar at the high end of the rev range.

    prob a crap remap mate had a evo in the workshop the other day with the same prob turned out it was a dodgy map
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    Weird one as you say it's holding fine "all the way to the redline" once it picks back up past the drop which would suggest your vacuum and boost pipes and sensors should be ok.

    It may be over-boosting and the ecu is compensating but I wouldnt expect it to be steady all the way the rest of the time in that case.

    Unless anyone else can come up with another suggestion, it does sound like it's map related to me I'm afraid.

    redone most of em with silicone one got one to do under turbo and a couple of vac pipes left could this be a actuator prob weak spring

    Anything's possible, but it's your statement that it boosts back up fine and stays there til the redline that confuses me.

    The fact it's dropping boost at one point in the rev range suggests too much boost/not enough fuel at that point which would be map related.
