Default Can't make my mind up...

I always said I wouldn't put LEDs in my angeleyes, but the more I think about it and see other peoples, the more I'm not sure. So I ordered a few to try them and see what I thought.

Not thinking straight I only ordered 10 (there's 8 in each light so I actually needed 16), I've since ordered 10 more but am waiting for them to come still.

I thought I'd try them today and see what I thought, only having enough for one halo each side it gave me a chance for a side by side comparison. I "think" I prefer the LED's but still not 100% sure.

What do you guys think? Change all to LED's or change back to the bulbs?

Need to order a couple of inline bulb holders to wire a bulb in line to stop error messages if I decide to change them all to LED's or alternatively get an LED loading resistor for each side. Just not 100% sure yet.

    Thoughts?

LED's for sure. Your lights will look much more uniform than they do now

Didn't know MTEC did 286 bulbs? I knew they did the 501's. But the angeleyes take the tiny 286's.

I'm watching this thread with interest. I have just bought angel eyes for my facelift and want to fit LED's to achieve the 'white' ring look but need to avoid the strobing effect.

I can fit resistors or leave the regular sidelights in the loop to avoid bulb warnings but how can you avoid strobing?

I think I'm in agreement with everyone to be honest, but they're just not quite as bright as I'd have hoped in the day. They look amazing at night, but during the day they're a little dim. But definitely a cleaner look, so I guess they're happening as soon as the others arrive lol
