    Default VXR brake pads

Hi I'm after a genuine set, I've picked up brand-new discs so looking for pads, am I right they are £100 a set?

As above the ebc yellow stuff are just under £100 for the fronts and they seem to be a popular choice. Alternatively see if you can find focus st ones any cheaper as they are the same.

Been doing a bit of research, basically the 3.0v6 cdti and the 3.2v6 and all 2.8T use the same pads as the VXR so must the the name that's why the big price tag!!

Seen a lot of mintex pads for £35 posted and brembo pads for £55-£60 posted are these any good?

I got half meat left on my original pads and discs have done 1k from new, all work perfect, but got a brand-new set of discs so would rather have brand-new pads to go along with them.

They use the same pads even though the discs and calipers are different?

Calipers are the same mate, it's the carriers that vary between the models and the different car manufacturers...

So pads from 314mm v6 front brakes are the same as 345mm 2.8t front brakes. That's something new I've learned.

Yeah mate same pads, although the overall disc size is smaller, the disc part the pad hits is the same size
