    Angry Coil Spring Again

Had my Off side front coil spring replaced a few months ago, and today the same one has snapped again

Question is will the garage replace this for free and whats caused the same one to snap again so quickly? Just been to the garage and they were closed until Monday.

The standard springs are poor quality metal. It's false economy to only replace one axles springs (never just replace one side)

Just fit some lowering springs. You can get PI springs on a lifetime warranty from

Had one of my fronts replaced after it snapped. I got them to replace both whilst they had the car.
All this was done miles away from home as I was on holiday, so had to go with what was available. They fitted Unipart springs which are guaranteed for 12 months.
Was told (hope they are) if any problems within warranty period Unipart will replace FOC. Don't reckon that includes labour for a refit though.

Did your spring have a guarantee with it?

So your saying the one they replaced has snapped again?

If so they should/will replace it as everything new has at least 12 months warranty.
