    Default Change car or not..

I have been seriously thinking about changing my car but I can't decide what to buy. My 2.0T has been a superb car over the last 4 years, totally faultless and still is, yet I have this urge to change

Ideally I would like a newish 3.0 quattro audi, but reality kicks in and they are too dear unless they ave been to the moon and back...so I'm getting this daft urge to buy another diesel vectra, probably a nice XP2 as they fit the bill with options and its the old case of knowing what your buying, fault and all! Couple of quick questions, when did they modify the swirl valves to metal instead of plastic? And where can you buy a really good aftermarket warranty for these things?

Tuning wise, I tried all the boxes on my old one and had lots of fun doing it but if I venture into the CDTi again it will be a remap, so where is king these days?

If I could learn to like the insignia it would be a no brainer due to vx's lifetime warranty, but I have zero affection for these things which is a shame. I cannot for the life of me think of another make/model that is significantly better than the vectra to justify spending possibly double what a top notch vecta would cost...so looks like my choice is very narrow, a CDTi or keep the 2.0T, anyone got aevice to help me clear my head

Apologies for the long rambling post

I'm in exactlly the same position but I have a 07 signum 2.0t and would like an A4 or Passat 2.0t, tried We buy any car for a laugh and they offered £3210 minus £49 for something? not as bad as I thought. but to be honest I can't be bothered it would just be nice to change.

Audi n BMW are ridiculously expensive second hand. I fancied a used A6 or 530D, but on a 55 plate with over 80k on the clock they're still WELL into the teens!!!
Volvo again are expensive,... but the new styling is stunning on them. What budget are you looking at?

No set budget, but its justifying paying double the price of a vectra for something that I don't think will be double as good, even though the resale value would be very good in comparisson.

    Decisions decisions...

Is snow a problem in your area? There are a few nice awd cars about, Jags, VW, Audi, Subaru etc. Test drive a few, only way to find out if you like them or not!

I am in the same position and have ben looking at the Mondeo 2.2dti Titanium X Sport. They are about 180 bhp with all the toys and you can get a 2yr old one for about 13/14k.

Did anyone notice I mentioned a car from the F**d range
