Default nose to nose facelift towered!

I parked my car nose to nose to a facelift vectra sri in works carpark other day and the facelift front end was about a foot higher when i looked at the side on! It was a standard sri and mine is lowered 35mm on snowies, so yes my suspension will have been lower a little but just looking at the bodys the facelift towered the pre. I wasnt sure if it was a good or a bad thing, as i do like the chunk look, thats why judging the 2 was difficult as mine has the chunky snowflakes on! And makes mine look chunky too. Has anyone else noticed this between the 2. Just out of interest how much is it to facelift the vectra? Whats the cheapest its been done for including any spraying?? Thanks

I suppose youd have to find exact colour matches, but with mine been lightning silver it cud be akward, ive heard its a difficult colour to match. If you dont get same colours the respray its self would cost a fortune!

I'm sure i read on the n cap site that the front end got taller because of eu law, same as when the new mini was facelifted (but on the mini all the other panels and windows had to be redesigned).
