    I know I bloomin would'nt , although I always say if I win the euro , I'd be ringing vaux/.opel and getting em to do me an astra gte 16v , and a mk2 cav sri130 brand spanking new

    10k will get you a rough one,probaly no mot etc,20k is average to mint,30k will get low mileage concours one but seen them go for more a few years back.

    New, they retailed at £48,000 (in 1991)
    (I'll get you an exact On the Road figure tomorrow when I can look at my LC literature at home)

    £20,000 for a 1991 sub 38,000 mile car is right on the money. As long as there's no obvious rot etc

    Ropey ones did drop under the £10,000 mark for a short time, but the prices are slowly going back UP.

    If you want a Lotus Carlton, you need to buget at least £15,000 in todays market. Remember it's ALOT of car, it has character and will leave a HUGE smile on your face.

    Insurance is easy now as they're 19-21 years old, so can be put on a classic policy. Under £200 for 3000 miles is easy to find.
