    Default Clonk/click on steering wheel

Don't know if anyone has any ideas.
When I move my steering while driving I can feel a click through the wheel, and every so often I actually hear a click sound.
Now I know the front droplinks or something are going as I can hear clonking noises over un even ground, never on motorways e.t.c but am wondering is this transferring through steering wheel or is it something else like rack?

I have noticed it also only clicks once each way not a continous clicking sound

First off check the pinch bolt that clamps the base steering column to the rack (engine bay behind engine) There is also another which can be accessed about midway point on the column from inside.
Both of these can work loose, just need nipping back up.
Doing this on mine (lower one) solved my looseness at the steering wheel.

I know exacly what you mean mate mines doing it now. I had the droplinks replaced and the problem still persists. I'm gonna try those pinch bolts although I don't have looseness at the wheel.
