Default Fault code p0190 cdi 150

My Car went into limp mode yesterday. The garage scanned it and showed p0190 and they said it is probably caused by my tuning box as it is a fuel rail pressure sensor fault- I think i may order a new tuning box what do u reckon? The car is now running fine again????????

What tuning box is it as most just up the fuel pressure only.

Rather than buying a box why not get it mapped?

Its one i bought second hand off ebay- the gut cliamed its an early dtuk but could not back it up. Its been on 18 months now without a problem till recantly. Mapping just seems alot more expensive for somthing for similar power and fuel economy gains

does anyone know if upping the fuel pressure is easy? or does it need a re-map?
Iv have all reconditioned injectors fitted and its been knocking all the time since they were fitted over a week ago, yesterday the car went into limp mode and done it again today on way home from work but if i turn the car off and re-start it the limp mode has gone :-S a garage told me the fuel pressure may need altering so am hoping this is the case? any ideas?
