Ive had two unsuccessful fault finding trips to the garage, my car was going into limp mode with fault. But garage were unable to identify any fault when the looked at it!
On route home from garage the 2nd time, the car faulted, and limped. I about turned to the garage in limp mode before the fault was able to clear its self on the subsequent turn of the ignition! I basically stormed in and demanded a mechanic come out to the car, he came armed with his tech2, and identified a Fuel Pressure Regulator fault. 2 days worth of work he says.
Does this have any impact on the fuel pump, i.e. will they replace that too? Or indeed does it indicate that the fuel pump is about to go?
Anyway advice would be appreciated.
