Looking for a digital camara

Anyone recommend one for around £100? only really needs to be basic and easy to use

I have always bought Samsung digi cameras and never had any problems with them, I've only ever bought new ones to keep up with the ever increasing numbers of mega-pixels, and not because any previous ones have let me down. I would say £100 these days will get you a nice one. Check out ebay, theres is always 1000's of them on there.

Bit over budget but if you can stretch to £130 you are into Ixus territory.

The silver one is cheaper than the others for some reason.

The missus has an older version of that camera and the image quality is excellent. Having said that there are loads of other makes out there. The only brand I never got on with was when I had Kodak through work although that was more to do with the software which seemed to take over the laptop.

I would suggest getting down to your local camera shop to see how you get on with various cameras. I was all set to buy a Canon DSLR until I tried it in the shop. It's another variable to nail down before you buy.
