2005 facelift 2.0t

Hi guys im going to view a 55 plate 2.0T vectra sri it has 45000 on the clock it has fvsh and was a demo car before the person im buying it off this is my first turbo car is there anything i should be looking for before handing over my well earned thanks in advance

id want to check the service history,oil changes etc..

Check the engine is cold and not been run before you get there.

Get the owner to start the car with you at the rear, it should start with NO smoke.
If it has a bluey grey smoking exhaust, the Turbo will need replacing.

As already said, check the service history. Other than that, normal Vectra things. Springs etc.

another thing is to check that there is no rattling of the chain ..
as above make sure the oil has regulary been changed
see if he has been putting in high octane fuel in be nice if he has

also got mine on a 55 reg with 40000 on the clock. all i looked at was the usual vectra problems, springs, shock etc...

There really good engines so shouldn't be any problems if its been looked after properly.

Whats it up for? as they tend to be good value for money aswell

mate its a low miles car and looks mint you aint never gonna get that for £4000 but i hope u buy it cos it looks lush
