    Default Eibach to Spax......

The front end of my dti sits too high and it looks stupid on eibachs. iirc my front axle weight is 1065kg meaning I went for the higher weighted springs and it's always sat up at the front

When Keithy had his 2.2dti sri he had a set of Spax springs fitted to his and it sat perfectly sooooo.....should I buy a spax psx kit (with adjustable shocks) and sell the eibachs on?

I was going to be replacing the shocks in the near future anyway so I thought I may as well get the ride height fixed too. Anyone got opinions of the spax kit?

SPAx are usually not too bad John, I had a set on an old car and they handled good. What about coil overs if your getting a 4x4 as this is what I'm thinking about at the moment..

Don't want to go too hard mate, still need the Vec for towing so this was the ideal compromise.

It means when I need to tow I can adjust the rears to soft (or maybe hard would be better)

Just about to reach for the bank card

I love the eibachs but they are just too high at the front and I don't want to take the risk of having the 1060kg kit when my front axle weight is 1075kg

I'm almost positive courts sell the under weighted eibach kit for the cdti, as a few owners have posted this, must say they do sit alot better than the 'correct' kit so to speak, also if the experts sell their kits this way...

Mnes currently on Elite standard kit, going -30 is not practical for me work wise, the springs i have ordered are Opel GTS = SRI, so the car will sit at the sri height...

It all looks really good quality, the full springs & shocks kit including camber bolts has cost under £300 inc next day delivery.
