    Default ceratec

Told my mate i was going to change my pads today and he gave me something called ceratec, and said that when he did his he was told to use that instead of copper ease, as it was no longer advised to use copper ease because it dried up and flaked? Anyone ever tried it?

Ive never had a problem using copper slip on pads. All this 'don't use it on the back of pads' seems like hype/spin to me

I did however used to get a problem with it going hard and horrible on any form of slider pin that sits in rubber - changed to silicone grease (maplins) and that is much better.
