    Default flywheel bolts removal

just when i thought my clutch/flywheel replacement was going fine i've now hit a brick wall

How do i get the flywheel to stop turning when i'm trying to undo flywheel bolts, tried using a screw driver but it constantly slips off any other better methods

must be going daft by replying to my posts.

Anyway went to hire a electric impact wrench didn't have one available so went to my local machinemart forked out £65 got home and bolts removed in under 60 seconds

now got an impact wrench that i doubt i will use again so its going up for sale

I assume its this one http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/pr...h/brand/clarke

Looks to be good tool so I think you should be able to sell it on. I would have never of thought about getting one so if I ever get stuck I now know what to do

Well done on getting it sorted

With the engine still in car access it was near impossible to use a breaker bar with any great force, the wrench although heavy made short work of the bolts, i've advertised it locally if i get £40 45 for it i will be happy.

just need to order clutch (although in good condition) and flywheel, cheapest i have seen today is 445 delivered
