    Default

MPG = around 20mpg mixed driving - mostly round town more if long trips
Performance = brilliant, goes really well about 6.5 secs to 60 but quicker if re-mapped and 150 mph ish
Engine = Z28NET - V6, turbo - all alloy GM engine DOHC 250BHP (latter ones)
Reliability = supposed to be very reliable, same engine in Saabs I think and very few issues

    - 26.8MPG over the last 12,000 miles with mine, mixed driving.
    - Totally Reliable (also identical engine used in several Cadillac and Saab models).
    - Easy to maintain, also chain driven cams so no belts to worry about.
    - Great value for money
    - Very quick - hang on !
    - Go for the auto, fantastic driving experience

    but:
    - Expensive road tax (gas guzzlers not popular anymore)
    - Poor residual values
    - For these reasons be totally sure it's what you really want before you invest - if so then get ready to have some fun !

****** hell I must lead footed! I can not better 20 mpg. Mine is auto so that doesn't help. This car is under rated, in Elite spec with auto box it's very luxurious and very fast - in gear acceleration is to be experienced to be appreciated mind you off the lights it's no slouch. Road tax is the only real pain in the wotsit, insurance isn't as bad as you would expect and running it apart from fuel is fine.
