    Default Mis matched rear springs?..

Whilst under the car this morning, I noticed that the 2 rear springs are different. Not in a length, shape or size way but in condition. One looks almost new whilst the other is very corroded.

Is this something to worry about?

Sounds like someone's had one snap and only replaced that one (you should always replace them in pairs). But if it's driving ok, I wouldnt panic about it.

For what a rear spring costs, and how easy they are to change, personally I'd change the corroded on, for peace of mind, if anything

I've had the car for almost 18 months so they must have been like that for at least that long. I may just replace them both to be on the safe side.

Just done this on mine as both had snapped. Got them from AutoVaux for £97 and had them fitted within the hour mate.

I think they are slightly cheaper too for the hatchback

You can get a set (4) of Eibach -30mm drop springs for about £140 and they will be better than the originals and last longer
