Yes plenty of poke mate from the 175 bhp engine. Pretty good economy too. Plus the engines are bullet proof.

The 2.0T from what my experience has been so far is a great engine.

I get around 30/31 mpg normally which is mainly short trips and the occasional 20 mile motorway trip. Mixed driving I'm am getting 36/37 and on a run most I have had 41.8 without sitting at 60.

Plenty of power in standard form and even more once remapped. I would suggest however you get a facelift model as they come with the newer Mitsubishi turbo and better injectors so will give you better results from the remap. Although I believe the gear ratios etc were changed in facelift also.

Take them both for a test drive if your not sure Both will kill you on insurance, I'm 24 with 3 NCB and I'm paying out the nose. It was £30 more if I had 4 NCB too lmao... wierd!
