oh dear, driving atound town this morning tick tick tick, dam nail in the front tyre, right by a tyre depo, not repairable,,, no credit card with me,, both fronts were due for a chainge, so with what cash I had I had EVENT WL 905s, got them put on the back and the (4 mil left) falkens put on the front, that will teach me to go out with no credit card. ANYONE done any miles with the EVENT WL 905s tyres,,,,,,,,, at least they seem as good as the FALKENS in the dry,,, but what about the rain

Why did u put them on the back as you car been fwd u need the new ones on the front

You always put new tyres on the back, its supposed to be safer and reduces the risk of the back end losing traction due to the better grip on the front.

I disagre and so would a lot of other people,, best tyre (new) on the back, there is a fifth gear test on this,

The principle is that if you lose traction on the front because of the older tyres, then you can feel it through the steering and do something about it.

If you lose traction at the back with the old tyres you can't feel anything or do anything about it...

i ran them tyres on my vectra they lasted and wasnt bad for acheap tyre

ok thanks, just noticed they only have 7 mil of tread,, my neighbour only uses EVENT WL 905s, he does 40,000 miles a year in his astra, he claims they are as good as Falken 912s????

have yet to test them my self in the wet, but on one review site, all three consumers who had these tyres said they would buy them again,, they look a great tyre, but looks can be decieving.
