    Default what to do with them chrome windows trims.

    Afternoon all.

    Sitting here wondering what can be done with the chrome window/door trims.

    getting a bit shabby.

    Does anyone know if they can be refurbed or restored.

    watching with intrest.......

    mine are covered in what looks like watermarks but it dont come off!

    How easy are they to get off? im going to attempt putting black vinyl on mine this weekend to get rid of the stained/ugly chrome

    duraglip helps a little but doesnt restore them to their full glory

    yeah, tried the ol brasso on them, but not much difference.

    Where did i see on here someone carbon wrapped them. Cant remember what the outcome was. Think alot of members on here would be faced with this problem at some stage or another, and 85 squids to replace with half decent set is a bit extreme.

    saw some matt black tape on a roll for this purpose - was reasonably cheap too
