    Default rear bearings

I've waited until the rear tyres needed changing until i decided the explore the annoying droning...

Tyres changed and noise still present so its time to look at the wheel bearings. No obvious play and £60 each hub/bearing setup..

How do you test em further..and any ideas as to how you change em?...

    Hi nikroc
try spinning wheels with car jacked up see if you can here anything,it dosen't take much play to cause a bearing noise.
it's a fairly easy job to change bearings, remove wheel ,brake calliper (support calliper don't let it hang on the flexy hose)remove the 4 nuts from the rear of the hub(you will need socket, extension, and a universal joint as one nut is a bit awkward)remove hub and refit with the new studs provided, about 60 to 90 mins per side.
