    Hi all
just went to change my bulb and pulled it out.
Now are there any wires attached to the metal plate?

Look behind the glovebox to the right, there will be a plug with two wires on it that fits that

If you've taken the light out without removing the glovebox and not been careful, the connector has probably fallen down inside. Only answer is pop the glove box out (3 torx screws at the top and two at the bottom), pop the light back in and re-connect it as you slide the glovebox back in.
