The thing on the sills is a chrome load strap thingy, for attaching some form of cargo net or dog net or something, same as the ones in the boot. Doesn't yours have them? As for £70, thats peanuts I reckon, makes the car wayyyyy more practical. And the first upholsterers I asked said they wanted £40 + VAT an hour, and that it would take half a day, so that would have been about £200 + VAT.

nope dont have dogs in the car...only the misses lol..but yer if you use your car with 5 poeple in it i never have 5 people in my car so its a waste of £70-150 to me in a way

iv got plastic push out things in my sills so i bet i could fit them

the vectra will take 3 full size car seats easy i have 1 either side and the oldest child has loads of room in the middle

had a 60 plate bmw 318 tourer 2 car seats and there was no room in the middle
